firefly supports battery swapping at NIO Power Swap Station 5.0
The high-end smart electric small car firefly was designed with battery swap capability from the outset. Leveraging NIO’s fifth-generation Power Swap Stations, the firefly enables users to set off with a fully charged battery in just three minutes, with automatic parking into the station and automated battery swap initiated seamlessly from inside the vehicle. During every battery swap, the station performs a comprehensive health check of the battery pack to ensure battery health, giving users greater peace of mind on every journey.
The first batch of NIO Power Swap Station 5.0 covers seven cities: Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Suzhou, Hefei, Chengdu, and Quanzhou. As the rollout of fifth-generation stations continues, battery swap services will become available to firefly users in more cities across China.
