firefly aster 2.0.0 Introduces 33 System Updates

On August 14, 2026, firefly began rolling out its aster 2.0.0 smart system, introducing 33 new features and enhancements, including AIGC co-creation capabilities brought to the high-end small-car segment for the first time. With this release, the high-end small electric car delivers an even more personalized and interactive mobility experience, turning the cabin into a true “creative partner” for users.

The update covers four key areas: smart cabin, smart driving, smart companion lumo, and overall vehicle experience, unlocking more possibilities for creative expression, entertainment, scenario-based experiences, and visual personalization. It delivers a new experience centered on greater freedom and self-expression.

The cabin receives the most extensive enhancements. A new AIGC image-generation feature makes its debut as the first of its kind in the segment. Users can upload an image, select an AI creative template, and generate a personalized center display wallpaper with a single tap, bringing a more distinctive personal style to the cabin.

Also newly introduced is mic-free karaoke, which leverages three proprietary AI algorithms to intelligently optimize backing track, noise reduction, and audio tuning, delivering sound quality comparable to that of a physical microphone. The feature also works seamlessly with lumo, allowing users to enjoy karaoke while continuing to interact with the vehicle through voice commands. Other new features, including enhanced ambient lighting and new center display desktop options, further enrich in-car entertainment and interactive experiences.

The smart system has also been enhanced with features including smart lighting alerts and front/rear parking assist. A new “camping mode” has also been introduced, expanding the vehicle’s capabilities across a wider range of usage scenarios.

Starting August 14, aster 2.0.0 has begun rolling out to more than 70,000 firefly users. Going forward, firefly will continue to enrich its smart experience through OTA updates and co-create a more effortless and personalized mobility lifestyle with its users.
